A Early Birthday Trip To Middlebury

It has always been a family tradition to choose a place to eat-out for your birthday.  My favorite of all time is going to Das Dutchman Essenhaus, I am not sure how or why we started coming here as a family, but over the years it has been a place where we have had lots of good food and a fun family experience.  After eating all-you-can-eat family style deliciousness you can lazily walk through shops, play on the playground or sit on big comfy sofas and just chat.  This was Bug's first trip and she loved it.  Bring on the chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, homemade bread and special tastes of Banana Cream Pie and Ice Cream.  She sat in her big girl chair for almost an hour eating non-stop... good gracious!

Lilly's first taste of non G-Free bread.  She LOVED it.
Happy to see Great-Namma.
Glad to have Daddy keeping Lilly warm.  It was a cool, but sunny day.
LOVE!! Again, Again.
Lilly doesn't really like when Daddy or Papa wears a hat.  She has to investigate to make sure it is really them.  She does the same thing when I wear sunglasses.

Easter 2012

Celebrating Easter was so different that last year.

Last year, I was Thirty-Nine weeks pregnant, dilated to three centimeters and having regular contractions all the time.  We celebrated Easter at our house and spent most of the day walking around the block and rocking in the rocking chair.

This year we also celebrated Easter at our house, but this time we enjoyed our family dinner with Lillian at the table.  Dinner with her is so delightful, she loves to interact and share her food.  And boy does she love to eat on her own.  She polished off ham, cheese, mashed potatoes and parts of a roll.  She was such a happy and full baby.  At one point during dinner, we were discussing what type of light fixture to hang in the dining room and everyone was looking up.  All of of sudden Lilly realized that everyone was looking up, so she stopped eating, looked up and then babbled about what type of light fixture she would like.  She is starting to become so observant and such a participant in conversations.

The afternoon finished up with Lilly finding eggs and opening her Easter basket.  She was thrilled with her ability to open the eggs and really enjoyed the gifts.  She even humored us by wearing some Bunny Ears for a little bit.

An Almost April Shower

This past weekend Lilly and I had such a good time traveling to Concord for a Wedding Shower for Michael Horosko and his fiancee Elisa.  We extended the trip with a small stop at school to visit GiGi classroom and students then a layover at Ikea followed by a trip to the Toy House and family time with my parents.  Of course while at the shower I took no pictures because I was too busy .. eating, entertaining Lilly, watching Lilly eat, watching presents being opened and eating cake.  There was a lot of eating going on.  However, I did happen to find a few pictures on other people's facebook pages ... Thank you Katie and Kellie...

As Jackson's Mom, Kellie Puts It ... "Lilly is giving him the "hand" as in "Jackson I am done with you for now; you will need to entertain yourself and stop trying to eat my dress"  They made up with a hug and kiss after this shot.

Riveting Conversation & Yummy Food!
