~ Ladybug Girl Loves... By David Soman & Jacky Davis

Weight:   24 lbs

Height:   32”

Wearing: Size Eighteen - Twenty Four Months ... she has VERY long legs, Size 5 Shoe

Motor Milestones: For Valentine's Day, Lillian received a latches board.  I was really excited about the board and envisioned it would be a challenge that would keep her occupied for long periods at a time.  Boy I was wrong,  Lilly really surprised me with her fine motor skills, she was able to rotate her wrist and successfully undo all the latches.  I always feel, that as a mom, I need to teach her everything, it is such a delight to watch Lilly do things and learn things on her own, using her own creative mind.  I have a feeling we are going to be experiencing this a lot in the future.

LanguageMilestones: Singing has become a favorite past time for Lillian, she was able to sing her own rendition of Happy Birthday for the February birthdays, she sings along to Twinkle Little Star and "Farmer" (aka Old MacDonald.)  In the car the other day I asked her if she wanted to sing and she said "No, Mama Sing Star."  So I started to sing, 2 words into it, she was belting it out from the backseat, she especially likes the world DIAMOND.. I don't know where she got that from.  Lilly has also started to count and has consistently made it to ten.  A friend mentioned that was a great skill and asked how often we work on counting, my reply .... she is in time out a lot.  In fact, she should be able to count to 90.

Highlights:
·         Continues to love the snow and spending time with Daddy outside.
·         Moved from her infant car seat to rear facing toddler car seat.

·         Visited Mama's office and helped her prepare for the move to the new building.

Favorites: Singing, Twirling, Walking on the couch/window sill/lines on the floor like a balance beam, coloring, practicing Ugga Mugga like Daniel Tiger.
