Gobble 'Till We Wobbled...

“It is not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, that the true measure of our thanksgiving.”  ~ W.T Purkiser

Our busy holiday weekend, started by
picking up our Christmas Tree at ...
Costco.

You can't beat, the Costco quality control,
delivery to your car and nicely
bound limbs, that slide right into our sleigh.

On Thanksgiving Day, we had 14
loved ones over and among other
things, Lilly liked eating and looking
through the ads.  She knows a good
deal when she see it.

Even Mrs. Whiskers was in a giving mood
and let Emma and Lilly have some
quality time, petting her.

Friday, we filled the house with
decorations, Lilly loves having a tree in her
room.

Matt helped her put the start on the top.

Saturday we spent the morning with
Lilly's boys at Cracker Barrel, Nick
and Lilly could be siblings, look at that
hair.

I don't know what is going on here, but the look on their
faces is awesome....

Cracker Barrel could sell a lot of their candles,
with these sweeties standing in front of them.

As if, we were stuffed from all of the breakfast
after some shopping, yard work and napping
we went to Old Chicago to celebrate Matt's
birthday.

And on Sunday ... we curled up, counted our blessings and
celebrated the First Sunday in Advent.
